The free screening of the documentary Not For Sale happened on August 14th, 2009. The following is a collage of people who were present at the event holding up signs to show their support in the cause.
Several of us will be out flyering tomorrow, August 8th, at Astoria Park between noon – 2pm. There will be lots of people lounging at the park and it’s an opportune time to start conversations & spread the word. If you are available during this time, please feel free to join us! Walk East on 31st Street towards 23rd Ave. Turn right onto 23rd Ave. You will see us when you get to 23rd Ave. and 19th St. It is about a 10 minute walk to the park from the subway.
